PHILANTHROPY
Alpha Epsilon Phi is involved with two national philanthropies, Sharsheret and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Each semester, as a chapter, we aim to give back in a powerful way to each of these organizations. In the spring semester, we host our annual Phi Hoops basketball tournament to support the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Along with our restaurant fundraisers, we raised over $2,000 to help fight AIDS. We also hosted a trunk show with Dormify to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation.
In the fall, we have our annual Ribbons on the Runway Fashion show to benefit Sharsheret. We host a pink Shabbat with Hillel, have multiple restaurant fundraisers, and a trunk show with Hangers and Highways where Sharsheret received a percentage of the proceeds. We are also very involved with our local philanthropy, UDance. Last year, we were the top fundraising sorority raising over $100,000 and we also received The Andrew McDonough Heart of a Champion Award. We are looking forward to another great semester!
